About This Class

Chef Toby brings a rich heritage to his cooking, having been born in Hawaii and raised in Seattle, where he learned the traditions of Korean cuisine from his mother and grandmother. His adventurous spirit and passion for international foods shine through in his classes, as he shares his enthusiasm and knowledge to inspire others. Experience the vibrant flavors and textures of Seoul’s street food, with each dish crafted to highlight the traditions he grew up with and loves to share. His menu includes Mayak Kimbap, addictive Korean sushi rolls paired with a tangy mustard dipping sauce, Tteokbokki, rice cakes cooked in a sweet and spicy gochujang sauce, Dakgangjeong, sweet and crispy Korean fried chicken, a beloved comfort food with a perfect balance of crunch and flavor, and Hotteok, pan-fried pancakes filled with cinnamon, brown sugar, seeds, and nuts, a warm and indulgent treat.

Complementary beer or wine pairing.
