In this class, you’ll discover the depth and warmth of a timeless curry as she guides you through the art of building bold, layered flavors from scratch using wholesome, aromatic ingredients. Step into the world of rich spices and comforting flavors in this hands-on cooking experience focused on creating a Classic Golden Curry. Chef Tissany will guide you through the essential foundations of curry-making, beginning with the preparation of fresh aromatics like garlic, ginger, and onion. You’ll learn how to properly bloom spices to unlock their full flavor, creating a fragrant base that sets the tone for the entire dish. From there, you’ll build your curry step-by-step, incorporating hearty potatoes, spinach or kale, and plant-based proteins, all simmered in a creamy coconut sauce. At the end of the class, participants will enjoy their freshly made curry served over rice and have the opportunity to take some home.
